CHIA Consolidated Rental Car Facility

Fast-track relocation and consolidation of eight major rental car companies to a new 40-acre site adjacent to the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Design, plans, and phased construction work were completed in ten months from Notice To Proceed.  A separate 20,000 sf Ready Return Building and 17 acre parking facility was constructed to the west of the service centers for rental car parking, pick-up/drop-off, and shuttle bus service.

Services Provided

RTC had complete responsibility for field surveying and electronic mapping; site-civil engineering; roadway, retaining walls and tunnel engineering; legal descriptions for the eight service centers; preparation of construction plans and four site bid packages.
