Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD)

NEORSD is responsible for the control of CSO discharges within its service. In 1994, the District completed a CSO Facilities Plan Phase I Study that identified planning alternatives and preliminary.  This project provided all engineering services necessary to develop site-specific floatables control recommendations at selected District CSOs. 

Services Provided

Study - RTC’s responsibilities included Background investigation; sketches, schematics to develop understanding of fixed-weir regulator/outfall characteristics; debris reconnaissance; general estimate of CSO floatables quantities; and detailed field topographic surveys. 

Design - RTC provided the following services in the Collection Design project; site plans / access roads to new collection facilities / structures; construction documents & estimates for new collection facilities / structures; and record drawings from the Contractor’s “As-Built” information as well as field surveys.
